As a Criminal just major, Psychology minor, I never planned a career in Project Management. I always planned to be a probation officer.

I just happened to be in the role of an Account Manager where we owned all of the activities that had to do with the account.  The company that I worked for was acquired, and during the reorg we were asked to ‘choose’ which role we wanted to focus on; and I chose project management.

I became a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2010; and a certified Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) in 2014.

I have served in the professional roles of: Project Manager, Implementations Manager, Agile Transformation Coach, IT Manager-PMO, Portfolio Manager, Program Manager, Portfolio Manager, and noW
Sr. Program Manager.

Family: I am a mother of only 1 beautiful daughter (Markeisha). My wonderful father (Harold) is my only Living parent; and I am the eldest of 2 sisters and 1 brother. I am single and divorced as of 2020.

Sorority: Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc since Spring 1988. I pledged at Langston University, Langston OK. I am currently a financial and active member of the North Dallas Suburban Alumnae Chapter. I was the chairperson of our Chapter Holiday party in 2019. I am an active committee member of the Membership Services, and Housing & Properties committees.
